Hello Forum Members

Any idea what is used to hold the door shut other than the 2 springs?

The person who did the resto misplaced many of the items and I cannot remember how it stays shut??

Anyone have a picture?

Two springs that are available from Mac's

Two springs i believe are the only factory version. A small earth magnet behind the dash over the top of the door will snap it shut. Not a destructive addition but works very well. Probably not the answer you are looking for.

def just the two c springs and two small rubber bumpers in the top two corners. Thats it. The springs should be plenty strong to keep it closed.
