'38 Column drop - need parts

Hey guys, I'm working with an original '38 column drop, but there is nothing left of it except the cast piece itself.

I have found the ignition lock, on off plate (and pins), switch contact set, and the pinch bolt. But I need the rest. I'm not 100% sure on what I am missing. I know there is a cylinder that holds the switch lever, and the lever piece itself. Are any of these other pieces reproduced, or am I out of luck? Thanks!

Does anyone know if the locking pin/cylinder that the switch pins to from a 40 passenger drop will work?

If so, I have one that someone cut in half...so it would be a good donor.

I believe only 38-39 will work.Lever different location on the 40 pass car.Maybe 40 PU will work. Those drops are easier to find and very often on EBAY reasonable.

Anderson, I have a very nice complete '38 column drop w/key that i will be removing from a '38 steering assembly. I bought this steering mainly to use the gear box and shaft in my '35 Avatar coupe to upgrade its steering. I would be using my existing '35 column tube, drop, wheel and horn rod for this conversion. I was planning to put this '38 drop up for sale here in the swap section maybe next week. You may be dollars, cents and time ahead by buying a nice complete drop like the one I have, or from someone else who has a nice complete drop for sale, and just sell what you have now. Again, this is a very nice drop that could be used as is on a show car, so I will not be selling this drop at what may be considered as a donor price. It was removed from a low mileage original car that is being built into a hot rod/street rod. If you think you may be interested, send me a pm or email and I will give you more details and send you some pictures.
