Yes you do, "They" go in the inlet at the top center of your head where the radiator hose attaches. You've started "another" argument here........I would say 180 degree. Should have them on both sides!!! Drill an 1/8 to 3/16th hole in the flange of each one IF you get new ones before you re-install them.
