For Sale. Flathead V8 head cylinders. Truck casting numbers. $150 plus shipping.
Set of Ford V8 heads that I thought were military because of the "ears" on either end. The casting numbers on these heads identify them as truck heads probably cast in Canada for Ford trucks from 1938-1942. They also appear to be reworked as they both have riveted tags on them.
The photos may be hard to read but both have “C 81T", LH and RH. Also marked as the normal Ford part number as 6049A and 6050A. Both have "Ford USA" which doesn't make sense as the "C" usually indicates Canada castings. The riveted tags have "K254" on the LH and "I204" on the RH head. Both are 24 studs and I think should fit virtually any Ford V8 between 1938 and up to 1946.
I had these on my 1939 Ford for several years and they were working OK. They have been in dry storage for many years (20 plus probably).
