37 Standard Coupe

Had some fun last week digging out this coupe that had been in storage since 1985. The fellow(who was a former co-worker of mine) at the age of 80 decided to sell it. He had owned the car since 1952. His wish for me is to keep it original which is what I prefer, a survivor it is. Just wanted to share.

Congratulations- great score. See, they are still out there! His original old 8N too I presume? Brian

`37 coupes are a good looking car...even though my past preferences have been old Hot Rods..I`m glad it`s staying stock.

clean it up make it safe drive it,remember you can restore them a dozen times but there only original once.jmo

Great looking 37! Clean gas tank and coat, new carb gaskets and fuel pump diaphram, clean points, add brake floaters and fog lights for emerg lights, change fluids and you should be ready to roll.

very nice....clean insides....fan on the steering column??....look forward to seeing you getting it running and enjoying it....congratulations....Mike

I have to say when I do get it polished up, hope it looks as nice as your Tudor. I'm working on it.

It has an 85 and unfortunately it is pretty tired according to previous owner, said it leaked alto of oil, so quit driving it----but I'll roll up my sleeves and get her running.

i have a 36 pickup that the motor was very tired and it leaked a lot of oil
i pulled the pan and their was about a inch of sludg in the pan. i drove it for about 2 years with the old motor and it still ran when i pulled it out. the more i drove it the better it ran, good luck and have a good time with it, Brendan
