37 pickup cowl vent hardware

My 37 pickup hasn't any activating hardware and I don't know what it looks like to try to replace it. I've got the hinging mechanism but no activating handle or spring or "ratchet". Can someone send a photo of what it should look like or give me any information?

This is another topic that was just covered in a recent thread! I will post a link. Might want to try the search function on some of these. The thread applied to a later vent (post 42) and included a Drake instruction sheet for a 40 vent. These will be different, but the parts and function are similar.
