Did any of the 37 interior door and window cranks come in all metal instead of the metal with the bakelite ends, or are the solid metal ones repro's. Thanks

I was thinking it was the other way around.

The other way around would make sense in today's world but it was just the opposite in 1937. Plastic was new (relatively) and different. Page 3-8 of "The 1937 Ford Book" from the Early Ford V8 Club (earlyfordv8.org) covers this topic. If you plan on keeping the car you should get a copy.

According to the 1937 Ford book referenced above, it was not bake light that coated the 1937 DeLuxe door handles--the material is called "rustic brown plastic ester coating."
