37 Ford front seat bracket problem

I have a 1937 Tudor slantback. I bought a front seat that I believe came out of a 1938 standard Tudor sedan. I went to bolt it into my 37 and the floor brackets don't match up. The front holes are correct and place the seat in the right position relative to the steering wheel but the rear are about 3 inches too short. Attached is a picture of the bracket I have. The holes on the side match up perfect to the seat. The bracket just needs to be longer.

I'm not having any luck finding brackets and I'm not a fabricator. I have a friend that might be able to fab something up but I'd love to find some that would work as is. Are there any other year brackets I can use? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Happy 4th of July to everyone!!!!

With respect, I'd suggest it's time you did try and make something up. That is a very simple job, and would give you great satisfaction if you could pull it off.
Sometimes we need to push our comfort zone.

Thank you for the encouragement. I agree that pushing beyond my comfort zone working on my 37 has been very rewarding. I always try to explore all the possible solutions to a problem. Fabricating this bracket might be a little beyond the tools I have. That's why my buddy may have to help me. I don't like to impose on his generous gift of tools and time if I can find an alternate way of solving the problem. I love Ford Barn for all the info and help it's given me. Thank you again for the encouragement. Cheers.

you can weld something up easy on that one..... make a card board extension piece that is what you need and take it to a local welding shop....i bet for $75 -100 your done...

For my 2 cents worth...I'd split it in the middle, line up the floor holes, fill in the space in the middle and drill a new hole to attach the seat.
