'37 engine oil filter

Is there a way to install an oil filter from a later year flathead on a '37 Ford engine?

Yep, there are several ways to go. Modify the oil pan for the return, use the special bolt that connects to the timing cover, or use the special bolt that connects to the fuel pump stand. Most likely many other ways to go about it.

Be sure you understand how the by-pass filter works and the need for a restrictor on the input to the filter.
