37 Column Drop

please excuse my ignorance i am new to V8 fords. I'm trying to get the toggle switch out of a 37 pickup column drop and i have no idea how??
Also, the ignition switch on the back appears to be a combination of a tin cup. some type of toggling device, and a main switch body. The tin cup and main body that i have appear to attach with two screws in a staggered pattern. But in the column drop the holes do not appear to be staggered. I am guessing mine are for a different year?? Any suggestions on where to purchase a new toggle switch, chrome end button and the appropriate switch parts would be greatly appreciated.
Lastly, it appears there should be some sort of spring loaded detent ball, spring and screw? to tension the toggle switch. These are also parts which are missing from my truck.

Roy Nacewicz most likely has the cap screw, Special lock washer, spring, steel ball for the switch so it snaps into position and stays there. He MAY have the end chrome button, if you post the diameter of the hole it fits in I can tell you if he has it and the part number he uses. Try posting a photo of the front and rear. There are reproduction switch handles and it would appear your going to need the rear switch cap, metal can, switch movable contact, and maybe a special thin plate. 3rd Gen Automotive may have these parts. A photo or two would be best! Do you have the lock cylinder and key??

Its pressed in-it has a knurled end on it.Carefully pull it out and have it replated.Not sure how the repops fit.

Here are some instructions written by Don Rogers on how to take a '35-'36 column drop apart and put it back together. There should be some useful information here for you, since these drops are very similar to your '37.
