I came across this on fleabay and i'm not so sure about it.But if it is true that would be something else.

I think your signature line says it all, Huckster... "don't get too excited"...

I'm glad ol' Stanley didn't strain himself cleaning the car up before listing it for $19k.

I assume there's no extra charge for all the sand / dirt tracked in on the floor mat...

I'm suspicious of that mileage, and a few other things.

With only 3600 miles on it, I wonder why the head had to come-off, get stripped, etc, and why the genny and starter had to be painted Ford Engine Green... 36,000 miles I would believe...

Caveat emptor.

I don't know.....the head looks different than the rest of the engine. I just has to much rust on it.

guess those rumble seat "grab handles" and deluxe trunk rack are also original
the cowl panels and upholstry etc,etc

I wonder why he doesn't explain it's "restored" including LB interior kit, new chrome plated interior parts, luggage rack, "grab handles", etc.???

Looking at the interior photo the pin striping around the gas tank sure faded fast compared to the paint on the tank!!!

Could have at least put the ignition wire clamp on the CORRECT head stud, it would have been a bit more ORIGINAL.

Notice the emergency brake handle is installed backwards and the
car has roadster top rests by the rumble seat.

I got that line from one of my "mentors" to bad he is not with us anymore.

Yeah right!

36000 Highway miles- engine, brakes, chassis and car in general~ low wear
36000 City miles- things sort of tired.
36000 spouse miles- 12000 past due for trade-in, yes really!

Buyer beware on this one.

Hey if you all are buying that than you would be really missing out on a deal for my car. I know its hard to believe but Edsel and his dad went round and round before Henry finally relented and let Edsel put out this one of a kind paint job at a newly built factory

Yes this is the original paint straight out of the factory, it is the only car to survive the big fire at the Rainbow Ford Factory in OneAbee, WV. Don't let this opportunity pass you by to own a true piece of american history.

Tail light is wrong for a 29 to boot. Should be attached to the body rather than the fender.

I thought '29 was a transitional year for the tailight ?

Or did Ford just put the tea-cup on the body-mount '28 bracket ?

I recently picked-up a set of fenders from a '29 Briggs Fordor that had the fender-mount tea-cup on the LR...
