36 top bows

Does anyone know if you can alter 36 cabriolet top bows to work on a roadster.

I bought a cabriolet rear wood bow for my roadster thinking they’d be the same. Was completely the wrong size. (I can’t remember if too wide or too narrow .) A few years later I bought a convertible sedan and the cabriolet rear wood bow fitted perfectly. Anything could be made to work, but I wonder if you should wait to find the correct set? Dan.

Do you mean the top irons? If so they are completely different.If you mean the wood bows the header is different .The rear bow maybe or maybe not.

If you’re coming to Hershey, I believe I have what you may need. I can’t positively identify all the different wooden bows, but the other wood I got with these was ‘35/6 roadster wood. I’ll be at Dennis Carpenters spaces.
