I know that for the Model A's there are many resource books that cover most subjects. Are there any guide books on how to restore the early V8's besides how to rebuild the motor? I have a 36 fordor.

Go to the Early Ford V8 Club site. They have the 35-36 book for sale.
Join the club and you will get the Bi-monthly magazine and roster of members.

the book doesn't tell you how, but does show the correct parts for the '36 and '35....good luck....got pics???.....Mike

There is a book named "The Early Ford V8 as Henry Built it, A Production Facts Book 1932-38". I got mine from Lebaron Bonney (the interior people). I'm sure its's available from other sources. There is a lot of good information between it's covers.

I also have a 36 fordor. Post some pictures if available.

Good luck with your restoration,

Jim

I would really recomend the Early Ford V8 club book on the 35/36 Ford, lots of good information.

Thanks for the info and encouragement. I will join the club and order the book or books. My car should be rather easy as far as restorations go since all the pieces are there and in good shape. I'm sure I will be asking a lot of questions later.
