'36 reflector position

Finishing up a '36 restoration. The reflectors I have will fit in bucket in two positions changing the position of the parking light and high and low beam filaments. What is the correct quadrant to have the parking bulb? Thanks Bruce

Parking light bulb is in the 12 o'clock position. See enclosed drawing.

Don: Sorry for not thanking you earlier, I have been busy with other things. Place the reflector in the correct position----all should be OK. Bruce

Speaking of headlamps, mine is 12 v and I have the halogen bulbs in mine, which put out a lot of light, but for some reason it is not focused on the road. Is that a function of the lens? The light is really defused.

Focused light coming out of a headlamp is a function of the lens, the reflector and the location of the filament. If the filament in your quartz bulb isn't in the same location and orientation as the original 6v bulb, and if the reflector has been modified, then the beam will be out of focus and the light pattern coming from the lens will be compromised. Here is a drawing showing the complexity of light zones in a 36 headlamp lens.
