I would like to buy a headliner kit and door panel kit for my 36 pickup.
i see that macs and LaBerron Bounty sell them, have you guys had good luck using either one of them. thanks
Brendan

I used LaBerron Bounty in my 35. At the time we did it there was an issue with it being to short.
That has been fixed, so I have been told. Take your time it's trickie getting it to fit correctly.
Have fun. Chet/Ma.

Brendan, I got the headliner kit for my 41 from Sacramento Vintage Ford.
The wife made my door panels with plastic from Tap Plastic, covered them
in a Tuck & Roll pattern.

you may find they come from here>>> Quiteride.com around Stockton CA.

Yes I did buy it from Quietride; They have a waiting period so don't expect to drive over and get it. Headliner easy no but the rest was, I am very pleased with it but I should have been a carpet layer..........what I use for trimming........

steel35, i have a kit from quiet ride for my `37 1/2 ton and i`ve been reluctant to install it because i afraid it`s going to look too shiny. what are your thoughts? do you do anything to "dull" it down?
thanx,
tom

Roomer some time ago was to wipe it with paint thinner to dull it (do not do it) a guy on the old barn warned of is smearing he was not happy. I like it! I started with the fire wall kit and had to have the rest.

Although there isn't much interior in those trucks! Lebaron Bonney has been around for years and years and use quality material however it is generally a good deal higher than Mac's.

So, if you are looking to be cost effective then Mac's is the way to go
Headliner and Panel $260, where Lebaron $395 for panel set alone. I have encountered various individuals that have used both and were more then satisfied with Mac's.

You can always go with Snap On! lol cousin. I'm serious about the above info.

I do not like the plastic door panels, too shiney. The originals were some kind of cardboard and had a dull finish. I use upholstery shop panels cut to fit. I know the plastic is more durable, I just don't like the look. The plastic headliner is all that is available, so we have to go with it. I have a 36 pickup that someone made a headliner out of the cardboard and it looks O K, but has some limitations.

I like MAC's for their service, so do not think this is a criticism of that company. However, I bought one of their cardboard '36 p/u headliner kits and it was "no bueno". A very kind fellow in N. Texas had an extra textured fiberglass/plastic headliner like the one pictured in this thread that he gave me. I do not know where he got it from, but it fit great.
