Hey guys. First time posting here. I’ve got a 36 1/2 ton pickup and it would seem to have a mysterious grill. I’ve seen mention of this grill before but with no real answers. I first wondered if it had been worked into this shape because of body damage but have come across an eBay listing of the same grill. My grill does not come to a sharp V at the bottom but instead is rather flat. I’ll post a pic of my truck as well as the same grill from an eBay listing. Does anyone know the reason for the different grill? I really prefer the sharper V and am trying to hunt one down. I’d also entertain a patch panel for that portion but cannot locate anyone that makes them. Let me know what y’all think and thank you in advance for the wealth of knowledge here.

Your grille has been reworked,not supposed to be flat at all.Your other pic you posted is so small but from what I can tell has some damage. 36 truck grilles are out there.Post a wanted ad in tthe Swap section here.The V8 Ford Club has a new 35,36 Truck book out.You might want to purchase it.
Look at this ad on the HAMB.Its sold but that is what a nice 36 truck grille looks like.

I just pulled this pic off one on EBAY.It shows the bottom front pretty well.The center obviously is messed up
