36 horn grills

I have a 36 5wc that my mother had a fender bender in back in the 60's. The right fender, horn panel and grill was damaged. I've repaired/replaced what needed but my question is that the left horn grill is cast and attached by screws from the back but all I've seen, new or used, are stainless with bendable tabs. What is correct?

Maybe either? Varied by plant or date of production? I know that '51 taillight bezels could be cast or fabricated. Not really the same but sorta.

This is a NOS 1936 Ford Horn Cover. Notice the Tags that fold over to secure in position.

Stainless steel and chrome plated steel with tabs were used on Deluxe models, while carbon steel painted was used on Standard models.

I have not seen any cast steel.
