36 Hood Removal

Just got a 36 Fordor. Want to do some work on it.
Question is -- What is the best way to go about removing the hood ?

Don't laught ...with a friend... I cant remove the hood by myself and anything I own ...

I undo the rear bracket lift the hood a little and slide everything back to clear the front bracket

have a friend help you, you can scratch the paint easily doing it by your self

2 guys can take it off but it takes 3 to put it back on. Otherwise the flapping side panels with hit the cowl or the headlights. Wear gloves as the joint between the halves will pinch ya'. Ask how I know this.

One thing that can help is putting a piece of wood between the 2 side panels to hold them about 36 inches apart. I put small wood block on the outside of the latch handle holes and screwed them to the 36 inch board.
