36 Ford without bumper picture

36's look good bumperless if you are going for the tail dragger custom look...

Same car in bare metal... He later added a tight fitting smooth rear bumper to the car.

I wonder just how many people realize how many modifications were done to this three window, and no visible welds. The builder is an artist, a master metalsmith.

BTW, for those that don't know, that bare metal (and subsequently black) 3 window started life as a 5 window.
 
They look ok without bumpers. I would be afraid of body damage without a bumper. MY 39 STARTED IN GEAR WHEN I WAS USING THE BUTTON ON THE SOLENOID. THE CAR RAN INTO THE SNOW BLOWER AND BENT THE BUMPER, THE GRILL AND THE BUMPER BRACES.

The snow blower handle bar was bent.

There is always the other driver bumping into your car.
 
Its a great ride. I couldn't do it and drive it around here Florida. To many people not looking were ther going. My 37 vintage race car is ok to drive around I feel safe.

the guy with out the hat looks like Cole Foster, he built one like that here in Salinas, Ca. a very nice car. Harold central coast Ca.
