36 Ford wheel bolt pattern

I have a Hot rod aka. (Shot rod,rat rod) that I am told was a 36. It has powder coated red wheels with new whitewall tires. The bolt pattern is 5 by measure skip one 10". What year did ford make thid stile lugbolt pattern.

OK james. The thing must be 37 or early 38, due to the water pumps in the head.The Flathead on the welding machine must be late 38 or 39. What year do you think it is? Man I am looking forward to saying ( I told you so).ha ha......

Water pumps in head plus wide bolt wheels, IF they are from the original vehicle, would make it a '36.
Details of axle and brakes would conclusively ID chassis as '36, '37-8, or '39.

Hello Bruce the engine also has the block off plates in the block. Can be switched to lower water pumps and center dump heads. I was tole this is a 37 or early 38 block. I do not know just going by what I was told. Thanks Lyle.

That is correct...sounds like a '37 type block with early heads, a common replacement intended by Ford.

The front axle and style of brakes will allow us to figgerout exactly what year the basic chassis is.
