36 firewall

Do I have an extra hole in my firewall below the radiator rod? I don't find that hole on page 10 of the 35/36 book. There is one below each support.

Just checked and my firewall has them also. I have no idea what they are for.

The extra hole is there to accomodate the larger style radiator rod bracket (48-8140/1) if used. The Station continued to use the older small bracket (40-8140/10)

I believe that hole is for the button you push thru the insulating blanket under the dash,there are several holes scattered out fot the special push thru buttons.

Don P, The firewall insulator holes are closer to the outer edges of the firewall. See page 10 in The 1935-36 Ford Book.

I just cheked and I don't have them. I have the 2 holes to the left, they hold up the mighty electrical and tech modual under the dash.
