'35 Tudor leaning

Roger, shackles need to be free to move as the spring moves. 70 year old shackles don't exactly make the cut. Nylon shackles are available from Speedway, and NOS shackles are also available from the usual suspects. I like the nylon, they are easy to install and can be touched up with black paint to fool the judges on the Concourse.

Mart,

You're right ! I converted mine to RHD back in 1932. It sits pretty level now except when I'm in it.

I would also check the "U" bolts that hold the spring into the crossmember. I had a friend with a leaning car and the bolt snapped causing the car to lean.
