35 pickup spare flutter

It seems that the spare tire has quite a bit of shaking when you bump it with your hand. Every thing is as tight as it should be. Is this common for this mount? Thanks Chet

A built in ailment!!! And yes, all of them do this. They really need another brace. JMO

Yes there is a strap and a locking hub cap. Chet/ma.

I have the same problem, I always put it down to mismatched parts. It looks good and dosen't bother me, so I never worried about it. There are however, plenty of other things to worry about. lol

Here is what someone installed on my pickup before I got it.

I added a third arm brace to mine that goes at a 90 degree angle from the two vertical braces, and it looks and works good....just costs one more hole in the bedside.
