Is there anything between the front cab corners and the frame, when I removed it I don't recall anything there and hate the thought of it sitting on the frame? included a picture of how close it was before that adds to my confusion. the bolts that go through are long and have springs under the nuts to allow movement?

The long bed mounting blocks are all that is under the bed. There is a slight gap between the front corner of the cab and the frame. There is only one bolt with a spring, and that is the one that is closest to the rear of the cab. I'll try and email you a picture. Lawson

I had springs in all four corners, front ones were on top.

This is the corect way the cab's were mounted from the factory. The four corner bolts had the springs, and the two bolts right in front of the seat riser, were carrage bolts. Roy makes a complete cab bolt kit, for the 35-6-7 pickups.....Ed

Oh how time steals memory. It has been almost 15 years since I mounted my cab on the frame and I had forgotten about the springs on the front bolts. There sure are bolts/springs in front and back with carriage bolt in the center. My bad.

Totaly understandable I planed on forgeting and took lots of pictures when I took it apart last year, and aparently I didn't take enough....
