35 Frame and Axle

I'm putting together a 35 Ford frame. The Banjo Axle that I have seems to be a 1939 model. The axle radius rods seem to bolt to the backing plates, not to the axle a few inches from the backing plates as I have seen pictures of for the 35 and 36 frame and axle.
Should I go ahead and try to assemble this axle and 35 frame ?
Or try to locate the earlier version Banjo axle ?

That combination is what I have under my '35, a '39 axle with 3.54 Merc gears. Everything fits like a glove. The only problem you could have is if you still have mechanical brakes. If that is the case you will need a '35-'36 rear axle.
