I am in need of a reputable engine rebuilder within a days drive of NC that can pour and line bore the mains as well as anything else it might need. Any suggestions?

I just spent the morning with Clint Bivens, a great fellow with years of experience he is willing to share. He is still building engines, but he is getting up there so I don't know how much longer he will be open. He does pour mains and after seeing some of his work, he is getting my motor.
I also talked with Bill Clatterbaugh in Richmond. He is still building but doesn't do babbit.

Harold, "Putt" Smith in College Park, GA (Atlanta suburb) is great on flatheads. He has built 3 for me and does most of the flatheads in this area. Great fellow. 770-964-6973. He does 'em all. Babbit or inserts.
