35 Engine Oil Baffles

Working on my 35 Flathead (I don't know the block designation). There are 2 oil baffles that attach to the oil feed tube underneath the intake manifold. There is a small baffle and a larger baffle. I don't know which baffle goes in front or rear. Looks like they could go either way. Also, not sure why the larger baffle has a odd arm on it that doesn't appear to cover any holes or do anything.

The long one is out of a real early motor. It doesn't matter which one goes where; front or back. Brian
