35 coupe front spring

Is this the proper spring for the front of a 35 coupe, seems mine sits to high in front and I have seen other springs that don't have extra leaf that wraps around the eye. The spring has 10 leaves. Thanks in advance. Paul

They have made that spring up and likely needs rolling down to D arch it ,normally it doesn't have the bit on the end .

I was just under my 35 coupe greasing this afternoon, and I was looking and checking things, mine looks just like that. In fact the drivers side has more of a gap than the pass. side

Paul, You might want to recount those leaves. The standard front spring for a 35 Ford had 12 leaves. I have including of a typical front spring. Notice the absence of the 2nd leaf wrap-around.

On some repopped springs they added the wrap as a safety item ,These repopes can be a little on the strong side I had to remove leaves out of mine to get the hight and bounce needed .

Don, I did count the leaves there is 10, your typical front spring don't look like mine, maybe I have one like flathead Teds repops. It is on the strong side. Ted which one did you remove. Thanks in advance, Paul

For what it is worth, my '35 front spring (with the rolled ends), has ten leaves.

The wrap around second leaf started late in 37. The 35 front spring does not have a lubrication fitting in the center and none of the leafs have the groove for the lubrication. The groove started later in 36.

Mine was a 34 I had the spring made I removed no 3 and 5 & 7 It works good now but still didnt drop the car much .
