35 Chassis Spec & 35 Rear Axle Width?

Does anyone know what the width of a 35 rear axle is? Also does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of the frame specs?

Width should be near 59 1/2 " from wheel surface of drum to other drum. Pretty much the same for 35 thru 41.

Wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface on a 1940 Ford car is 59 1/2 in. I measured mine very carefully. Hope that helps a little.

A stock 35 rear will have the spring perch as part of the wishbone, not permanently attached to the axle bell... and will have 5 x 5.5" bolt pattern drums...
