35/36swaybar

Maybe if Don had a drop front axle, but if I understand you it would have to be down low in the tire area, tire goes flat and bolt would contact pavement? The bottom of Don's bolt is still in the back plate area, is this what you consider correct? Is it anything below the drum, so if you lost the wheel? thanks for the information, Bruce

`Scrub line, were not talking about losing a wheel , just a flat tire. So it's the bottom of the wheel.
Also you gain clearance by by installing the link bolt with the threads up.
With an un-dropped axle there are fewer problems. But with the stock shocks it looks like an interference problem.

Just checked the clearance on the 35 ,I have about 1-3/4 in from axle to rubber bumper on the frame, have about 7/8 in between the sway bar and the shock. So if I cut 1 inch off the spacer on the link, that should work with no problems??????? correct??????

Don't see a problem ,the bar is stationary on frame, the link moves as axle goes up and down, will ck anyway,,

Thanks 42merc for the "scrub line" I was referring to.
I forgot to mention that I have a dropped axle with the smaller 15" rims in my original post which is the reason for my car not making the "scrub line".
