35 @36 radiator diff

Working on a 36 but have a decient 35 radiator,if i can find a good radiator man any reason i cant change the side mounts and top bracket. They both have petcocks in btm and large tanks on top and core measures the same. Dp

No reason at all why you can't do this. I use 36 tanks with 35 bracketry in my 35. The top tank is slightly smaller in capacity in the 35 radiator you have; the bottom slopes up, whereas the original 36 is straight, but as you have identified, you can simply change over the top bracket to suit. Note also, the bottom tanks and mounting plates are slightly different between the two years too. Brian
