Received much help on needed wood issues here on this site a few years ago
as i had no wood to make patters off .Enter a very helpfull ford barner !!!and without
his help I probably would have passed on the project.
It is time to order up wood for rear cargo area, but again I have question !!!
How many, how wide and how thick and what kind of wood was used in this floor area.
I do know the planks need to be 7ft long but not sure if 3/4"or a full 1"inch thick
Has any one put new floor in or have any answers ???

I have not replaced floor, but I have 2 panels with the original floors in them. There are 7 full length boards, that are 5 7/16" + a 3/8" lap. There is 1 -2 piece boards split for the wheel well on each side. They are a full 3/4 " thick. I believe it is oak. I am using these cabs for parts storage and hope to get one cleared out soon. I can give you a better rundown then. I also have correct design reproduction bedstrips for these models. I have the panel, below the rear doors that the bumper arms go through. I make reproduction patch panels for the rear fenders and have several original brackets and hardware. If I can help you please call 214-803-5895 Fred
