Brian Well-known member Jan 5, 2016 #2 Anyone? There are some very clever guys on here...surely someone must have encountered rusted out retainer channels in their 35-36 Ford? How did you fabricate replacements? Last edited: Jan 5, 2016

B barnfind Senior Member Jan 5, 2016 #3 Take a look at lower door seal retainer from C&G Ford: http://cgfordparts.com/ufolder/fordpart.php?number=7C-8120712-P I ordered these because they are very very close to the 36 door seal retainers. Closest to original metal I have been able to locate and the price is reasonable. Lower Door Seal Retainer Strip 7C-8120712-PR Welds on to bottom of door or on to cab to hold lower door seal.
