Hi Everyone, PeterC, Thanks very much for sharing your photos, you have every right to be tickled to death over that car! There was an awesome '36 3w at Tahoe, and I couldn't walk past it without stopping (over a period of 4 days).
I'm sure I speak for everyone that we'd love to see more of the car from every angle, even underneath!
Are you thinking of driving it from Conn. to PA for the Gettysburg meet?
Like the other fellas said, as long as it has steel fenders and a flathead engine it can be a part of the V8 Club's Eastern National Meet. There are Touring A (a little more modified) and Touring (very slightly modified) classes (voting by people registered), as well as the point judged classes. An owner can select the class they want, but there are guidelines in the membership directory. With the change in brakes, maybe the Touring A would be the right class?
Also, for others reading, there will be a Display class at this show that will even allow period Hot Rods (even those with bow-tie engine swaps

). Some of the display cars will win awards! So, if anyone knows of a car that would fit, encourage them to show up!
