'34 with Oil Filter Canister Hoses

Greetings,
At some point, my grandfather installed a Fram (?) oil filter canister on his '34 Fordor deluxe. I have a number of filters, but the intake and exit hoses are suspiciously hard. Are there specific replacement hoses available, or does one just "find what fits best"?
If specifically available, who might carry them?

Cheers!!

They are not readily available. I'd suggest you bring the old hoses to your local hydraulic hose supplier. They can make a new pair while you wait. Not too costly.

I made the oil filter hoses on my '40 out of 3/16" steel brake line. That's the way Chrysler did it with their remote oil filters.

You can use Ni-Cop brake line instead of steel - much easier to bend. It stands for Nickle-Copper. You can probably buy it in 25' rolls at places like Jeg's.

Yes, the hoses will break when they get old and brittle. The lower hose did on the 52 Merc. Luckily happened in the shop and I saw it in time. Got a new hose made at a hydraulic shop. Not cheap, but good. Later I used a piece of steel brake line to replace the top hose.
