Referencing the 33-34 V-8 club Restoration Manual on page 7-40:
The photo shows two metal plates that are used to secure the sponge rubber pedal and steering shaft seal. The seal is shown as P/N 40-7001730 in several of the parts suppliers catalogs. The top, or large metal plate is P/N 40-700392 and available as a repro from several sources.
My question has to do with the smaller plate that is nailed to the back of the floorboard. I "believe" that the P/N for this plate is 40-700370. Please correct me if I am wrong.-----Where can I find this plate? None of the parts houses that I know of have it. I have tried to Google the P/N with negative results.
