I cosmetically cleaned up a working, running 34 motor. Skip did the pumps, put on new hoses, etc. Put water/coolant back in the radiatior, and before even starting up the motor a water leak from where seems to be the driver side front top exhaust manifold bolt, and it is still steadily dripping. What has gone wrong, any ideas? Thanks Barners

I hope this isn't your problem, but the only time i have heard of coolant comming from an exhaust manifold bolt, was when to long of a bolt was used. Some guy here in Santa rosa, had a really nice flathead built for his car, and by using to long a bolt in the headers, damaged the block.....Ed

remove the bolt and clean everything reinstall the correct length bolt using a good sealer on the threads, add some radiator anti leak run the engine through several cycles of Cold-Hot This may seal the leak for good. Good Luck
