Fiver asked that I 'splain how I installed the luggage rack on my 1934 Three Window coupe. I understand that this rack is not necessarily a true 1934 rack, but I like the look of this one better.
Photos attached, it mounts under the car where the cross bar mounts. The vertical post has "ears" that sit on the on the top of the rear bumper brace.
I had to cut the vertical posts at a strategic location, and add an extension of about 2" for it mount properly. Then grind down, then powder coat.
