I was told that they make hubcap skins; SS,for a 1934; and others, that can be put over the original boby of the cap, has anyone ever done this ? and if so , where do you buy the skins , thanks Barners

Drake http://www.bobdrake.com/ makes a very good reproduction hubcap (assuming the dies haven't worn out and/or that he hasn't shipped the production out of the country). Maybe he sells skins but if it was me I would just buy the whole assembly. I have his caps for my '32 and it wasn't worth restoring originals unless you have a very high point show car.

Thanks Guys, yes probably the best thing to do is get the whole new caps, just thought there was an alternative out there ..
