Hi Barner's ,does anyone have a parts illustration for a 34 thru 37 generator they could post for me & I will make a copy of it. Van Pelts diagrams start in 1938. I'm looking for part # of the collar bearing adjuster nut. Thank you in advance.
Gary.

I have a nice '34 rear generator plate with springs and brush holder. Would like to trade for a good 50 lb. oil pressure sending unit. Can't help on the other request.
Joe

The diagram of the breakdown is in 38-40 and 38-41 Chassis parts books. Anyone ever see an adjustment procedure for the adjusting collar?

'31,
I have these nuts and a suggestion. I have a kit that I sell that replaces
the 2 Timkens with a double row sealed bearing. With this setup you have no more
lubing or adjusting. I've sold hundreds of these. If interested email me at cas5845@yahoo.com

I like Charlie's kit. The single bearing he uses can take much more stress than the two original Ford bearings. The stress is from tightening the fan belt. His bearing is also sealed to keep all dirt and water out and the lube in.

31chevy,

Sorry, no. Perhaps Southside Obsolete in Minnesota has them available.
