34 fuel pump problem

Marty,
So apart from the zero reading on the gauge, what symptoms do you have?
Try drilling a hole first like I said, normally corrects the hot reading.
Martin.

Make certain your tank is vented. I keep a boat tank suction bulb with some rubber hose around so I can draw fuel from the tank to make sure it's coming through. At least you can eliminate that part of the system and move on to the next. I've had fuel lines that got some tank shellac in them and would plug off after fuel softened the stuff up. I'd keep running an old speedometer cable through till it finally cleared the crap out.

You never know what you are going to run into on these old cars.

Thought it might be sucking air but I installed new steel line changed to new rubber line back to new steel line, see air bubbles in sediment bowl with electric fuel pump and mechanical working together.
