Can someone clue me in on some information about the contruction of the roof of the 34 coupe. My coupe had a poor excuse for a metal top welded on to it. Once I removed the metal section, I found the orginial tack strip, which I removed and cleaned the channel and will replace. What is that stuff that is used to hold the tacks in place? I have sections of that stuff missing that will need to be filled with something. I think I understand that once the ribs are in place that a layer of chicken wire, canvas, padding, and top material are streched and tacked down. What is used to hide the tacks? Also does anyone have a pattern for the wood section that holds the dome light or measurements? Thanks for any help.
