Howdy boys, OK heres the question for 33/34 ford coupe owners. Where exactlly does the hose that is attached to the rear window drip tray, EXIT the car? Ive looked for posts on this and couldnt find much on it really. Im thinking its somewhere down in the lower right quarter panel area, but I didnt see a drain hole in my car in that area. Anyone?? Thanks, Joe

Howdy Joe,
Well, as your fortune continues...
I just put my 3 window coupe in the painter's hands the other day. I saw it yesterday and it is being very carefully and meticulously sanded, blocked, sanded, blocked, etc. etc.
So far the fenders are sanded to a near mirror finish. The body has not been touched yet so when I go back there on Monday, I will take some shots of where that hose goes. Since the car is still gutted everything like that is still exposed.
Hope that will help you unless another Barner gets you a pic first.

I did a 36 coupe for a customer many years ago but I seem to remember either a drain hole or a place for it to drain out seems like it came out on top of the running board. Like I said it has been many years ago like over 30 years ago.

On my 35 coupe it went down the front of the passenger side, rear wheel well to a metal nipple just inside the body panel. it dumps out in front of the rear wheel passenger side.

On my 34 5 window coupe, the hose feeds into the right side quarter panel. Mine had a factory hole in the quarter panel for drainage. If yours does not have a drain hole, drill a small hole for it to drain. Tom

Thats Interesting ALL ORIGINAL and a multiple of Exit areas.
Maybe it matters what factory or if built in the states or Canada.

Thank You Guys for Your replies on this subject. I guess if I were to choose a drain location then ,,, the floor sounds fine. I will have to double check to see if there is one allready there, if not I will drill one. Thanks again :) Joe

My 3 5w still has the remnants of the hose end on it's bracket down in the bottom of the quarter panel. I can't say if there was a hole for it to exit, lets just say there is just one big hole for it to exit now.
I will take a pic of the bracket and hose remnant and post it here. It might help.

In fact, here it is!

I believe the end of the hose is correct, I don't think there is anything missing from that end.

I would go along with Tom/SC's statement that it just dumps into the quarter and the quarter has a drain hole in it.

Mart.
