34 C model

Thanks, folks,I saw one for sale and thought it may just drop in,
Looks like the old trans will stay,
My A made 38 hp at the wheels last week on the dyno,so there is no need to change it out for a later engine yet.
My boys 6 cyl falcon ute made 696 hp at the wheels .

Lawrie,

David Bussard from "Down Under" wrote an article in SSOS mag, July 2000 that details installation into a "right drive" automobile.

Lawrie was on the Gold Coast last week (like a lot of Kiwis)
Weather not as flash as last time I was there but some nice cars for sale. A nice 1914 T Depot Hack in Byron Bay that took my fancy but the exchange rate and import durties to NZ killed it unfortunately. All the best for "Dingo Deans" and the Wallabies against the ABs in ChCh this weekend -Karl

Karl,I left NZ in 81,but still favour the a/blacks, was in NZ last week, weather wasd bad,but had a good time got some good stuff and info.Lawrie

My son has a road registered 07 Falcon XR6 turbo, ex pursuit car. He is always mucking around with the blow off valve/exhaust and induction etc.
They are pretty strict here on changes/modifications so I am glad I don't drive it much.
I'd rather have a quiet sleeper. Not something that "coughs & sneezes" all the time :-)

Lawrie, I am running a '34 B motor and box in my A coupe, took a bit of effort with RHD controls / header etc, but now have a great touring car that puts out 87HP on the dyno, and cruises like a dream.... now maybe an overdrive for that big tour next year......

Manual, I've just picked up a near-new XR6 turbo. Even in standard form they are seriously quick. I had no quarms about having the throttle wide open on my BF XR8, but there is no way I'm doing that on the '6 yet until I get a lot more used to it.

Your boy's car must be pretty scarey!

Good morning Mike and Lawrie,
Sounds like fun!!
Let us know how u get on fellas.
I'm a bit passed it now unfortunately.
regards,
Manuel
