34 / 36 driveshaft

I had to cut the sleeve on my 37 rearend to remove it from piniong before, but now as working on the driveshaft I thought to re-use it so I weld the cut and saw it to lengts.
Now it did thrink some of weld but I file it up in the spline so now it goes on pinion ( by hammer not by hand = I dont know if this parts should be at a play of pressfit )
I had it on the splined axle and lathe surface of.
Idea is has a adapter on outside this sleeve ( OD is to small ) and into the 34 drive shaft tube or if I try go with a 50 mm tube ( if its fits inside the TQ tube )
Now a question.
One told me this aplication in a hotrod ( with B&L tires raked frame ) the oil will go from banjo into tube and it will leak.
So they use a seal in rear, but how to do that ?
