Hey guys, Im having a hard time find a striker plate for a 34 3 window,
They are different, the female teeth on the backside of em are wider than normal, to interlock with the wider male counterpart on the body.
I actually found 1 on ebay a wile back.
In these pictures the striker plate on the left is what Im after.
See the difference in the teeth.
Thanks ..

Believe all the original Ford striker plates are solid steel and do not have hollow depressions on the rear.
The 38 hardware book shows 40-702340 for the model 40-720 3-W coupe it is rectangular in shape (no rounded edges) used on many models. I can not find the rounded edge being used in 33 or 34 they are first used in 35.

Tks Terry
the big problem is the teeth on the back, the car body will not accommodate the close teeth.
The one I have with the wide teeth fits the body, the close teeth one just rock back and forth like a tetter totter, over the male counterpart on the body.
