To fasten your 1933 V8 grill emblem:

Explanation: The entire 1933 grille, including the nickel-plated surround is one-stamped piece. Between the top of the grille and the top of the radiator, there is a permanently-fastened center bracket around the radiator cap. Through this centered-bracket there are 2 fine-threaded machine screws. There are also two fine-threaded machine screws on the sides of the radiator midway one on each side. Also one fine-threaded machine screw on each corner, one fine-threaded machine screw adjacent to each headlight and each horn.
Remove these all screws to access the back of the grill in order to attach the V8 emblem. 11/32nd fine machine thread.

Replies welcome. Removal of the grille took us awhile to figure out.
Replies welcome!

The entire grille needs to be removed to do it properly. The 2 front holes on that bracket that the grille attaches to are threaded. No nuts. There are 2 attachment threaded holes behind the radiator cap neck that secures the front hood center hinge bracket also, remove those.Lift the hood up slightly and use a piece of wood to support the front of the hood so the grill the grill can be lifted up over the neck when time to remove. On the sides of the radiator there are 2 brackets . Top one is a brace and the other is for the mechanism for the hood release, disconnect them from the grille, not the radiator. Now go down the grille and it is attached to the inner fender panel with screws and nuts on each side, remove them .Now below them and underneath are attachment cap screws or bolts that need to be removed. The grill now should come out.
Second pic shows the upper attachment bracket.

I was able to put my 33 roadster on a lift and reach up between the radiator and the grille and install the part. Long arms and a small ratchet got the job done.
