\'33 Pheaton

I bought this Phaeton and got it in this week. It is a great driver, can hit the highway for hours, metal is excellent and I really like all the 33 accessory upgrades.

I wanted to inform the Barn about the excellent transport service that brought the car. A husband/wife team that only do runs in California. Brand new two car enclosed trailer and fair prices. Aurora Motorsports, John Benefield. (707) 217-1533, his email is auroramotorsports@yahoo.com

I was gomma have him round trip my 34 3W to Tahoe in June, but I won't be done in time. If he gets two cars to commit, he will do it.

Have a great Sunday!

I had the pleasure of owning an originial unrestored, low milage '33 Pheaton. What a pure pleasure. Pheatons seem to have a story with them. My car come out of Elmhurst NY. from an estate. The estate had purchased 2 new pheatons in 1933. One Deluxe, tan; the other (mine) standard empior brown. The cars were used on the estate only. They were never licensed or titled. My car had 35K miles on it.
We used and enjoyed the cars for several years. Sure wish I had never sold it.

I believe that I have several original, old time photos, of your previously owned phaeton.
In about 1970, a fiend of mine and I, were trying to register all 1933-1934 Phaetons. One of the most interesting responses was from a lady in Elmhurst, NY, I believe. She sent a packet of very interesting photos.
Unfortunately, all my information is stored in West Virginia and I am in Florida. I will be going back up there, sometime in the not too distant future.
MIKE :)
