I ordered a windshield from N/C Industies chromed with glass. It was perfect!
When I tried to install it, the centre of windshield was 1/2 inch short. After discussing the issue with N/C they can't understand why it didn't fit as they've sold numerous ones without issue.
So I shipped them my original frame to use as a pattern to make a second one and am letting them keep it for future reference.
So the question is what is the measurement of a 33 Cabriolet at the centre of the windshield?
My 33 measures 12 inches. The cowl was perfect and never been worked on, and my original windshield was 1/2 inch taller than their pattern. What we are trying to determine is if there is a difference between plants. My car was built at the Canadian Top and Body Company and the American Cabriolets were built by Murray.
N/C Industies have been fantastic to deal with and are doing all they can to help out. I told them I would try to figure out why there is a difference just to save having this happen again.
