33 34 front fenders

was at a local swat meet today a guy had a nice set of front steel fenders for a 33 34. when i looked at them the other edge where the bead is was bent over & flat not rolled edge like later fenders . he swore they were orignal i thought they were repro was i wrong i passed on them

The original front fenders on my 34 are rolled. The 34 five window I had years ago had rolled front fenders and the extra 34 fenders I have are also all rolled. In fact all of the 33 34 front fenders I have seen had rolled edges.
